I Like Big Trucks!

When I was a teenager (oh so many years ago!), I would occasionally babysit my cousin's son, John. When he was a young tyke he loved trucks above all else! His first word wasn't momma or dadda, it was truck! When I would care for him all he wanted to do was stare out the window and wait for the trucks to pass by. Luckily he lived on a busy street so there was never a worry that trucks of all shapes and sizes would be there to entertain him. He was so excited to see the large semi trucks, the stop and go trash truck, the noisy construction vehicles, and of course the clippity-cloppity dump truck. For hours it seemed, he would repeat the same word over and over again..."truck, truck, truck!" How I wish back in the day it would have been possible to have had a personalized shirt made with Lil' John's beloved trucks on it. By the way, John is all grown up now and we are mighty proud of this young man! He is currently the President-Elect of the  Transportation Lawyers Association as well as a Director of a well known law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. It's quite ironic that his law practice involves representing transportation and trucking companies!
