Monograms are typically printed with the initial of the first name on the left, initial of the middle name on the right, and the initial for the last name in the center. And if you are sending a monogrammed gift to a couple the women's first name initial is located to the left, the man's first name initial is placed to the right, and the joint last name initial is placed in the center of the monogram.
